Calista Stewart Director
BA (Hons), DipArch, ARB, RIBA
Director, Calista Stewart is our Lead Architect with 10 years experience working in the UK’s top architecture practices as well as doing freelance work before setting up Stewart Apau with Business Partner Denis Stewart. Calista has worked on multi-million pound projects in the educational sector as well as organising planning and residential housing projects.
Calista is extremely passionate about the creative design process, striving to get the most out of each project and to stretch people’s imagination. This passion is the foundation and ethos of Stewart Apau.
Calista’s extensive experience also focuses on achieving the most cost effective way to achieve unique designs without compromise to the development budget by pushing boundaries.
Denis Stewart Director
Sales Director Denis Stewart has an extensive background in the technology sector as well as managing a core sales teams in the luxury car industry. Denis strives to push Stewart Apau to the forefront of the top known Architectural practices.
As well as striving to build Stewart Apau’s profile via creating marketing campaigns and winning high profile projects, Denis is tasking himself to enhance our customer journey to make it easier to communicate with our client via innovative ways.
Denis also aims to incorporate Virtual Reality systems into the business to help showcase and pitch ideas to clients. This will help make each project more personal for each client.
With Denis background in Technology, we will lean on his experience and expertise to help incorporated Smart Home technologies in our projects, in a seemingless way. Smart Homes will be the future and we strive to be ahead of the curve.
We have a simple mission: to create a place that starts with you. Our buildings and interiors are made with care, turning materials over in our hands and debating the finer points of craft.
Our Mission
Our architects and design teams have years of experience of designing the best fitting and most appropriate solution for our clients. We are independent and unsponsored by any particular brand, so we can design the perfect space for you without being limited by the product range available from a certain company.
We’re proud of our approach, which is collaborative and geared to making the best possible use of other people’s knowledge, skills and valuable perspectives. We work with structural engineers, party wall surveyors and other experts as we see fit – wherever possible we make sure everyone's got what they need to do their jobs safely.
We work with structural engineers and party wall surveyors on larger projects, conducting site visits with them to make sure their requirements are met. We also provide you with a Principal Designer for your project if needed, who can act on your behalf to manage the relationship between all parties involved in your build.
